Transfer deadline day: Northampton town announcements

Northampton Town have signed Portsmouth striker Michael Smith on loan for the rest of the season.

The 25 year old, 6ft 4in striker began his career with Darlington. In 2011 he attracted the interest of Charlton Athletic, with whom he signed a three year deal.
