Hundreds of athletes are taking a well-earned rest after some tough competition at the British Transplant Games, which came to a close on Sunday.

The event - hosted in Birmingham - lasted for four days, included two dozen sports and more than 100 competitors.

To mark the games, ITV Central has been following three young people who had their transplants at Birmingham Children's Hospital and have journeyed from illness to fitness.

Andy Bevan has been following their sporting fortunes and spent the weekend watching them compete.
