Man charged with murder of Shara Miller in Smethwick

A man has been charged with the murder of Shara Miller, who was found dead in Smethwick on Monday Morning.
Tanveer Singh, 31, from West Bromwich was yesterday arrested in connection with the death of 41-year-old Shara.
He is due to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Thursday (14 August).
Two other men have been released with no further action after being questioned by detectives.
Shara was discovered off Woodburn Road and a forensic post mortem has revealed she died as a result of strangulation.
West Midlands Police believe Shara was killed in the early hours of the morning at the location where her body was discovered.
Detective Chief Inspector Alastair Orencas, from our Homicide Unit, said: "This charge is a significant development in our investigation which remains very much ongoing.
"Our focus is on getting justice for Shara and her loved ones, and it's important that anyone with information which could help us comes forward.
"We've been carrying out enquiries in and around Soho Road, Birmingham, where it's understood she was involved in sex work, and we really want to hear from anyone who may have seen Shara on Sunday evening or early Monday morning.”
