Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has been granted permission to leave the England camp ahead of their opening World Cup qualifier to resolve his club future.

The Football Association confirmed on Monday night that Hart would temporarily leave Sam Allardyce's squad.

It has been reported that the 29-year-old is to move to Serie A side Torino on loan.

Hart has been dropped by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and has not played a Premier League game this season.

Manchester City were unavailable to comment on reports that Torino have booked a private jet to take Hart to Turin on Tuesday if City approve the deal.

Hart is third-choice at City following the signing of Claudio Bravo from Barcelona, but has retained his place in Allardyce's first England squad for the World Cup clash in Slovakia on Sunday.

Allardyce had told a press conference on Monday morning that he was willing to let players leave his training camp before Wednesday's transfer deadline to address their club futures.
