Pothole danger for cyclists

Potholes are becoming a growing safety problem particularly for cyclists, according to the AA's president.

He's been addressing the Bicycle Associations AGM in the House of Commons today.

Following the recent cold winter weather, councils have been inundated with reports of potholes, but 18 million drivers have apparently failed to report them.

Fifty nine per cent of motorists in London say they've seen potholes but haven't recorded them, and half say it's because they don't know the local authority's procedure.
