Shocking CCTV of yobs attacking police with fireworks

Caught on CCTV - the terrifying moment a crowd of yobs use a firework rocket to attack a police patrol car.

Officers were called to Bruce Road at the junction of Stroudley Walk in Bow, East London following reports that the street had been blocked by youths who'd set fire to a bin and were throwing fireworks.

As the police car approached, one of the men fired a rocket-launcher type firework directly at the car. Flames can be seen coming out of the firework as it hits the windscreen.

The driver is momentarily unable to move forward because of the blinding light from the rocket which is launched from a distance of just a few yards away.

No one was injured and a 24 year old man was later arrested and charged.
