Where to go for firework displays in London

There is no shortage of professional displays going on across London this weekend.

Here we pick out six of the biggest firework displays for you to see.

  • Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival - Saturday 3 November

The annual event has been going for 150 years, which is an impressive feat and plenty of rockets flying into the sky. To add to the event there is a German beer festival and street food aplenty to keep the tastebuds happy amid plenty of whooshing.

  • Blackheath Fireworks - Saturday 3 November

Each year 100,000 flock to south-east London to see the sky lit up by an incredible array of fireworks. In addition to the combustion and colours, there is a fairground for all to enjoy before the fun in the sky begins.

  • Battersea Park Fireworks - Saturday 3 November

One of the capital's finest pyrotechnic displays, going for a full 22 minutes of non-stop fireworks being sent up into the night's sky.

A scintillating series of fireworks will be set off from the top of the post-industrial Millennium Mills, one of Newham’s architectural gems and familiar to many from its numerous appearances in film, television and music videos.

  • Victoria Park Fireworks - Sunday 4 November

There is a ‘monstrous’ theme for this year's display to mark 200 years since Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein.
