Super Snow Moon lights up the night sky across London

The largest full moon of the year brightened the skies across London on Tuesday night.

This year stargazers were treated to an additional, rare, and fascinating natural light in the form of the Super Snow Moon.

The Super Snow Moon forms as it reaches the closest point in its orbit to the Earth and the surface is completely illuminated by the sun.
