Teenage virgin jailed for 21 years for stabbing women

A teenager who stabbed three women in frustration at not being able to lose his virginity has been jailed for 21 years.

Ben Moynihan, who is now 18, attacked the women at random with a 4 inch kitchen knife aiming for their hearts.

Moynihan, who compared himself to serial killers, also wrote letters for police confessing his crimes.

Describing himself as the "unhappy geezer", he said "all women need to die" and that he "liked to smell the flesh he had ripped out".

One letter, left on a police van, said: "Hopefully next time I can gouge their eyeballs out."

He also kept a "diary of evil" planning multiple killings and made a video in which he asked if he should kill women by slashing their throats or stabbing them in the heart.

Jailing him at Winchester Crown Court, Mr Justice Jay, said Moynihan's offences, committed when he was just 17, were "as chilling as they were disturbing".

The court heard he suffered from an autism spectrum disorder and had a "gross lack of empathy".
