Five people deny RAF Brize Norton 'Palestine Action attack'

Five people have denied damaging two Voyager aircraft at RAF Brize Norton in a demonstration allegedly carried out by members of Palestine Action.
During an incident on the 20 June 2025 protestors broke into the Oxfordshire airbase and spray-painted two RAF Voyager planes.
The damage so far is just under £1.7 million but it could rise to just under £15 million.
Muhammad Umer Khalid (22), Lewis Chiaramello (23), Amu Gib (30), who was previously known as Amy Gardiner-Gibsonn, Jon Cink (25) previously known as Jony Cink, and Daniel Jeronymides-Norie (36) appeared via videolink from prison.
They each pleaded not guilty to charges of damaging property and entering a prohibited place for a purpose prejudicial to the safety and/or interests of the UK.
A trial has previously been set for January 18 2027 at the Old Bailey and is expected to last up to eight weeks.
Shortly after the incident, the government made the decision to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation.
The Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer condemned the attack, saying it "was disgraceful."
