Funding has been approved to reinstate access from La Vallette to Clarence Battery by the end of 2023.

Half of the eastbound carriageway between the Grand Hotel and Gloucester Street will be resurfaced over the week, with diversions in place for drivers.

Jersey's Chief Minister has requested that "Modern Methods of Construction" are used as part of the redevelopment.
