The astronaut helped turn the failed moon landing into triumph by getting back to Earth safely after an oxygen tank explosion.

Nasa's acting administrator has directed the agency to fast track its plans to build a power network on the moon to the US ahead of China and Russia.

The craft, owned by private company Intuitive Machines, aced the 'landing of a lifetime' a NASA official said.
