Welsh band from Bridgend beats Sabrina Carpenter and Oasis to number 1 in the official album chart

A Welsh rock band has beaten the likes of Sabrina Carpenter and Oasis to reach number one in the Official album chart.
Those Damn Crows released their fourth album God Shaped Hole last week.
In an Instagram post lead vocalist Shane Greenhall wrote "I’m sat here thinking just how crazy this all feels for us Crows right now, away from our families at home whilst on tour…
"But we’re visiting our other family on the road, our Crowfamily, who could potentially make our boyhood dreams come true with what could be a Number 1 album!"A confident, defiant, yet naive, 6-year-old Shane knew this day would eventually come, and now we’re in this position… dare we dream? It’s what our new album ‘God Shaped Hole’ is all about - we can make anything we see fit happen, belief and manifestation."And, as always, WE NEED YOU. We may be the name at the top of the charts right now but it’s you, our fanbase, the ‘CF’ that made us rise to these all new heights."You’re Number 1 to us, Crowfamily!"
The band, made up of singer Shane Greenhall, guitarists Ian "Shiner" Thomas and David Winchurch, bassist Lloyd Wood and drummer Ronnie Huxford, formed in Bridgend in 2014.
In a video with the Official Charts, the band said " Thank you so much everybody, it's absolutely insane, and we can't thank you guys enough.
"It's not just a thank you for this specific moment, but for ten years of sticking with us.
"I think that's why it means so much, it hasn't happened at the start of our career, we've been working so hard for years behind the scenes, and this is like a huge reward.
