The family of a Gloucestershire man who went missing in Amsterdam say they are retracing his steps to try and jog people's memories.

Almost a week after Richard Cole went missing Lee Thornhill is hoping the effort will help others remember where his brother may have gone.

Lee flew out to the European city on Saturday and has told his mother, Debbie Thornhill, he will be there for as long as it takes to trace Richard.

Back in Cam, near Dursley, where Richard lives with his parents, his mother and aunt say they're increasingly worried about him.

Richard had been travelling from Copenhagen to Assen in the Netherlands.

He stopped off in Amsterdam and his last known location was in the Thorbeckeplein area almost a week ago.

His Aunt, Bev Radford, says he's normally in regular contact and they're now desperate for news.

Richard's mum, Debbie Thornhill said the family had been overwhelmed by the response, and surge to find Richard, from friends and people they don't know.
