1. Moving On

George and Mildred Roper plan a move to middle class suburbia. Mildred is anxious to impress, but George is happy to remain working class.

2. The Bad Penny

The Ropers meet the new neighbours and their invisible dog, and George discusses politics with the local MP.

The Ropers have moved, so George must find a job - but first he has chores to do at home. Will he breeze through?
