Ipswich Town sign new goalkeeper
Ipswich Town have signed goalkeeper Scott Loach on a three-year deal from Watford for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old started his career with Town's Academy before his family moved away from the Ipswich area.
Nottingham-born Loach has been a life-long Blues fan. He said: "As soon as I was aware of Ipswich Town's interest there was no doubt in my mind about coming here. I've been an Ipswich fan all my life. I was coming to games since the age of 6 and have always enjoyed coming back."
Ipswich agreed a fee with the Hornets earlier this week, allowing Scott to travel to Suffolk for talks and a medical, before signing the deal which has the option of an additional year.
Loach was born in Nottingham. After leaving the Ipswich Academy he went on to have spells in the Academies of Nottingham Forest and Chesterfield, before signing as an apprentice at Lincoln, prior to his move to Watford in 2006.
