A man has been charged with the murder of Elizabeth Merriman in Rochdale.
The mother-of-three was found dead when officers were called to a house on Birch Crescent in Newhey at around 11.35pm on Sunday, October 22.
A post-mortem examination concluded that she died from stab wounds to the torso and abdomen. Darren Merriman, 40, of Birch Crescent has been charged with her murder
He has been remanded to appear before Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday.
