'Hungry squirrels ate my Toyota' claims angry driver
A furious driver claims hungry squirrels ate parts of his new Toyota Aygo. Tony Steeles from south London says the creatures attacked his treasured car just days after he bought it.
Speaking to Auto Express Tony said the squirrels munched their way through his aerial, damaged his oxygen sensor and tucked in to various rubber trims.
No other cars in the street in Croydon appear to have been damaged.
Tony believes Toyota's eco-friendly plastics may have attracted the squirrels. Parts of the car are made from plastics derived from substances such as castor oil.
