Whilst the majority of us may well be putting our feet up and enjoying a break from work, the charity says carers rarely get the chance to stop.

Carers Trust research found that 30% of carers never get a break of any kind, and 68% of carers spend any breaks from caring doing chores.

The trust are now looking to support carers over the festive period with their We Care at Christmas campaign.
