Labour regains Stockton Borough Council
Labour has regained overall control of Stockton Borough Council.
Conservatives gain Richmondshire District Council
The Conservatives have gained Richmondshire District Council in North Yorkshire. The authority had previously been under independent control.
Conservatives now hold 21 of the 34 seats on the council.

Labour gains in Hartlepool while Darlington also remains with Labour
Labour has gained an extra three seats on Hartlepool Borough Council, strengthening its hold on the authority. Labour now has 22 of the 33 council seats.
Darlington Borough Council also stays in Labour hands.
Council election: Labour hold five Tyne and Wear seats
There's been little change in the make-up of the five Tyne and Wear local councils. Labour has retained control of Sunderland, Newcastle, Gateshead, as well as North and SouthTyneside.
UKIP lost its two seats on South Tyneside Council to Labour.
