Fairey Gannet aircraft move
A Fairey Gannet plane has arrived at MOD St Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan today. It will be used to help restore its sister plane, so that it can fly again.

Navy plane to become donor for sister's restoration
A 50-year-old aeroplane once used by the Royal Navy to check for threats from other aircraft has arrived at MOD St Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan today.
The Fairey Gannet will now be taken apart - to help restore its sister plane, so that it can fly once again.

A Fairey Gannet aircraft is being transported to St Athan today. The post-WW2 plane was designed to fly from aircraft carriers. Maintenance work will be carried out on the aircraft by Hunter Flying Ltd in Barry.
