West Country MP leaves Conservative party to join The Independent Group
Totnes MP Sarah Wollaston has left the Conservative Party with two other MPs to join eight former Labour MPs who defected to form a group of independents.
In a joint statement, released via The Independent Group, they said "the final straw for us has been this Government’s disastrous handling of Brexit".
