Big Brother streams soar 50% year-on-year on ITVX

Big Brother is continuing to make a big impact on ITVX, clocking up 12.7m streams so far - up 50% on the 8.5m streams recorded after 13 episodes last year. A captivating cast, alongside numerous twists, tensions and talking points, has kept the series at the centre of the conversation during its first two weeks.

The series also had a strong second week of linear viewing, with five of its six episodes in week two up year-on-year. For the first two weeks of the new series, viewing for 16-34s was up 17%. Last night’s episode was the biggest of the series outside of the launch episodes since 2024, with 645k viewers - up 187k (+41%) year-on-year, marking the biggest year-on-year increase for the series so far.

Last night, Big Brother: The Group Chat also recorded its biggest audience yet with 244k viewers.

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
