Last night’s Wanderlust starring Toni Collette puts the idea of polyamory and multiple sexual relationships in the spotlight. So is this the future for marriages? Do you think an open relationship can ever work?

Comedian and political activist Kate Smurthwaite admits to having multiple partners - 10 in fact - and says the idea of monogamy is extremely outdated and people should be able to be more open about what they want in a relationship, whereas our agony aunt Deidre Sanders says open relationships are dangerous and as soon as you invite another person into your relationship - it risks damaging the chances of finding a committed partner.
