Thirty patients and three members of staff are believed to have contracted the norovirus.
Hospital managers are now urging people to take all the usual measures to stop the problem from getting worse.

The winter vomiting virus closed five wards and affected almost 150 people at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary in May.

An outbreak of the winter vomiting bug has closed 3 wards of the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. So far 26 patients and two staff have been diagnosed.
Anyone who thinks they may be suffering from the virus is asked to stay away from the hospital, and contact their GP if needed.
Management will be meeting today to discuss the situation.
