Memorial for 49 killed in Huddersfield factory fire

Footage from the archives showing images taken at the time of the disaster in 1941, followed by video footage of a memorial service to mark the 50 year anniversary of the tragedy. A service will be held today in Huddersfield in memory of the 49 people that lost their lives.

Today a service will beheld to remember the 49 that died in the fire. After the service a plaque commemorating the disaster, will be unveiled close to the site of the original factory.
