Hunting The Silver Killer
Cases of murder-suicide are rare. Yet in the 1990s, the sleepy town of Wilmslow in Cheshire saw two in the space of three years. Both were elderly married couples, found dead in their beds. Both crime scenes bore startling similarities. Police concluded that in both cases the husbands had killed their wives and then taken their own lives. But were these cases of murder-suicide or could they in fact be double murders? Is a serial killer still at large and could they have killed again? For the first time, two former Senior Coroner’s Officers, who tried to raise concerns over the deaths, reveal why they believe there could have been a miscarriage of justice. And, using all available evidence, world-leading forensic scientist Dr. Angela Gallop and renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Dick Shephard take a fresh look at the cases to try and get closer to the truth.

In Our Blood: The Forever Chemicals Scandal
In almost every respect, Bentham is a quintessential Yorkshire town: proud, close-knit and set against breathtaking countryside. Two years ago, an environmental journalist’s investigation revealed it to be the most contaminated place ever recorded in the UK for PFAS - toxic so-called “forever chemicals,” some of which are linked to cancers and other serious illnesses. For decades, the town’s main employer, Angus Fire, produced firefighting foam now believed to be the likely source of the pollution. The company routinely manufactured and tested this foam on site; the government ultimately banned it in 2025.
This groundbreaking documentary reveals how those chemicals may have spread beyond the factory boundary and how a small town is coming to terms with what it means for them. The film, part of the BAFTA-winning ITV Exposure strand, follows residents and former workers - some battling cancer - as they undergo blood testing to find out whether the pollution in the environment has entered their bodies. With some lawyers in the US describing the contamination levels as a “smoking gun” and experts here saying the results are “staggering”, this is a story of a community demanding the truth about what happened, and who should answer for it - as awareness grows about the issue of potential PFAS contamination in the UK.
Directed and Produced by Martha Elwell
Associate Producer: Pippa Neill
Assistant Producer: Geeta Wedderburn, Producer: Lotti Norman
Film Editor: Marco Ruffati
Executive Producers: Natalie Jane Hill & Delilah Jeary

Faked: Hunting My Online Predator
Every year hundreds of women in the UK become victims of revenge porn and deepfake imagery, yet the chance of conviction for these crimes is very low.
In this powerful true story, three women - strangers living hundreds of miles apart - are forced to take matters into their own hands after finding themselves portrayed as offering sexual services in faked profiles, including their names and photographs on dozens of porn sites advertising their sexual services. None of them know who is doing this, how their images were obtained, or why they’ve been targeted, even though the impact seriously affects their relationships, jobs, and lives. Not knowing who is behind it leaves them in permanent fear. They each go to the police but when the authorities fail to identify anyone posting the images, the women must take action themselves. But, to catch their predator, they first need to find each other, following the trail of malicious fake profiles that keep multiplying - and tracking clues across hundreds of websites. This documentary - for the BAFTA-winning ITV Exposure strand - follows their five-year hunt for answers and for justice. Along the way, the women unravel something far bigger than they could have imagined: a network of hundreds of unknowing victims and one man at the heart of it all.
