First aid: What to do when someone has a seizure
If somebody is having a seizure, first and foremost, you need to make sure that they're in a safe place. If they're in the middle of the road, remove them from danger, try and put some soft things around them. If there isn't a cushion around, you can put them on your lap, just on your knees so that that way they're not hitting their head.
Don't try and put something in their mouth. It's common for people to want to put something in the mouth to stop them from biting their tongue, but this can act as a choking and airway obstruction.
Once they finish having that seizure, put them in the recovery position.
