Police have released more information on the getaway route used by three armed robbers who raided a Halifax jewellers. They threatened staff at gunpoint at Lister Horsfall jewellers before escaping on foot with a large quantity of watches.

Police release more details of armed robbers' getaway route
Police investigating an armed robbery at a jewellers in Halifax have released more information about the suspects' getaway route.
Officers say three men were involved in the robbery at Lister Horsfall on Cornmarket on Thursday February 5th. They threatened staff at gunpoint and then escaped on foot at 4.40pm and ran up Cheapside carrying a holdall between them. They turned right at Rawson Street, crossing Fountain Street in front of the Salvation Pub. The suspects then split up. One man ran along Harrison Road turning right up Carlton Street. The other two walked past the Salvation Pub and Plummet Line to Bull Close Lane.
It is thought all three of them got into a vehicle in the Council car park on the streets around the Irish Centre.

Police have described a gunpoint raid on a jewellers in Halifax as an 'horrific' incident.
Three men entered Lister Horsfall jewellers on Corn Market in the town armed with a gun, crowbars and a hammer. They threatened staff at the store and escaped with watches worth several hundred thousands of pounds. It happened on Thursday February 5, 2015 just before 5pm.
The jewellers was previously targeted on January 5,2015 when a large quantity of watches were stolen.

Staff threatened at gun point in Halifax jewellery shop robbery
Police are appealing for witnesses after staff at a jewellers in Halifax were threatened at gun point during a robbery.
It is the second raid at Lister Horsfall, on Corn Market, in Halifax in recent weeks.
The latest incident happened just before 5pm on Thursday, February 5, 2015 when three men armed with a gun, crowbars and a hammer went into the store. They threatened staff and took a large quantity of watches worth several hundred thousand pounds. The men then escaped on foot up Cheapside towards Georges Square.
