Police have released more information on the getaway route used by three armed robbers who raided a Halifax jewellers. They threatened staff at gunpoint at Lister Horsfall jewellers before escaping on foot with a large quantity of watches.

Staff threatened at gun point in Halifax jewellery shop robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses after staff at a jewellers in Halifax were threatened at gun point during a robbery.

It is the second raid at Lister Horsfall, on Corn Market, in Halifax in recent weeks.

The latest incident happened just before 5pm on Thursday, February 5, 2015 when three men armed with a gun, crowbars and a hammer went into the store. They threatened staff and took a large quantity of watches worth several hundred thousand pounds. The men then escaped on foot up Cheapside towards Georges Square.
