Morpeth

Kristopher Follos, of Morpeth, was arrested at his home where officers discovered three more improvised explosive devices which had to be made safe by the army.

Police were called to an explosion outside a service station where a cashpoint was on fire. Officers from the organised crime unit say they made two arrests.

Multiple police vehicles and a forensic team have been in attendance in Morpeth following the discovery made as part of an ongoing investigation.
