People living in a village near Carlisle say they feel abandoned after a blaze at a nearby recycling centre continues to burn more than a week after it began.

Five-hundred tonnes of plastic is ablaze. They have urged people nearby to close doors and windows because of a risk of fumes from burning asbestos.
