Asian Hornets

Volunteers were called out to a business where a small embryonic nest (one built entirely by the queen) was found on the outside of a door.

It is feared the bad weather may have brought trees to the ground.

This is the first a Asian Hornet nest to be found on Herm. It was nestled in a bank of brambles, just inland from Belvoir beach.
