Police to help traffic flow during memorial prayers

Police officers will be deployed to the streets of Leicester today to help keep traffic moving as funeral prayers are held for a family killed in a house fire.

Shehnila Taufiq, her daughter Zainab, and sons Bilal and Jamil will be buried in Ireland this weekend and special prayers will be held today at 4pm in Spinney Hill Park.

People in the area have been warned of possible delays as "large numbers" are expected to attend the memorial for the family.
