Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Michail Antonio from Sheffield Wednesday for an undisclosed fee.

Antonio, 24, has signed a three-year deal with the club.

The 24 year-old winger scored 9 goals in 42 games for the Owls last season, having joined from Reading in 2012.

Antonio began his career with non-league Tooting and Mitcham and has also played on loan for Cheltenham, Southampton and Colchester.

I'm really pleased to be here. Nottingham Forest is a massive club, it has great potential to reach the Premier League and, on a personal level, I'm here to better myself as a player and get as far as I can.

Forest have an amazing history and they have been pushing for promotion to the Premier League for the last four or five years. Hopefully now we can get there.

– Michail Antonio

He could make his debut Saturday in the season-opener against Blackpool.
