A fire which destroyed a Grade II listed mansion in Northamptonshire is believed to have started accidentally. Around 50 firefighters were called to Cosgrove Hall near Milton Keynes on 7 October, to tackle the blaze, which quickly spread through the 18th century building. The fire service says an electrical fault in a store cupboard could have been the cause. They're unable to carry out a full physical investigation due to the structural damage of the building.
