Following a contentious few months, plans to build a luxury hotel opposite Jersey's Airport have been approved in principle.

The new application for opposite Jersey Airport sees the number of floors reduced from six to five, rooms and parking cut, and the removal of homes for workers.

After over a year of planning refusals and public protests, the former beachfront restaurant at La Pulente in Jersey will not be converted into accommodation.
