Where to go for free advice and support for mental health issues
Campaigners in Jersey are working hard to break the stigma of mental health illnesses as research shows men find it difficult to speaking out about their problems.
Nearly four in five suicides are by men and three quarters of people who go missing are men. Men are also three times more likely to be regular drug users than women.
Experts say these figures are indications that there's more work to be done in understanding the emotional distress some men may be experiencing, but also in promoting the help that is available on the island.
ITV Channel Television's partner charity for this year is the mental health charity Mind. Click here to find out how you can get in touch with Mind Guernsey for further information on support that's available.
