A man has died after a serious assault in Cardiff, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police were called to the scene in North Street, in the Grangetown area of the city just after 4 am. A 35 year old man was taken to hospital but later died of his injuries. His next of kin have been informed.
“We are in the early stages of our investigation and our thoughts are very much with the family of the deceased at this difficult time. One person has currently been arrested"
South Wales Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward.
