Detectives in Cardiff investigating the murder of Russell Peachey have arrested a third person in connection with the incident.
A 37 year old man from Barry was taken into custody late on Sunday night.
Mr Peachey was found in the early hours of Saturday morning in the Grangetown area of the city. He was taken to hospital but later died of his injuries.
Two other men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
We have had a lot of positive responses to our appeal for information.
I want to thank members of the public and the local community who have assisted the investigation.
I am still appealing to anyone who was in the area of North Street, Thomas Street and Penarth Road between 03:30hrs and 04:20hrs, and may have witnessed the incident to contact police if they have not already done so.”
