Motor racing's Frank Tiedeman dies aged 92
The world of motor racing is in mourning after the death of a doyen of the sport, Frank Tiedeman, of Cheltenham,who has passed away aged 92.Frank, a Freeman of the City of London, was the founder and driving force of the Monoposto Racing Club and has served as its Secretary, Chairman and President.
On retirement from the board Frank held the title President Emeritus in recognition of his enormous contribution and service to the Club.His passion for motor sport led to him collecting racing cars and three of his most prized vehicles are to be sold tomorrow at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
