Cornwall Council is considering spending £500,000 on developing the Cornish language
Cornwall Council is asking the Government for £400,000 towards a scheme to promote the Cornish language. It says it gives the county unique character and benefits the local economy.
The authority would add £100,000 of its own. Our Cornwall correspondent Steve Hardy reports.
