A climber has died in the popular walking spot of Scafell in Cumbria. Police say the man, who was walking with a companion fell around 600 feet on Lord Rake's Traverse after slipping on frozen snow and ice.

The warning comes after a man fell hundreds of feet to his death from icy cliffs on Scafell in the Lake District.
