Woman distraught after £50,000 jewels stolen
A woman from Dumfries says she's traumatised after burglars broke into to her home and stole jewellery worth £50,000 whilst she was on holiday. She says her house insurance won't cover all the costs.
A woman from Dumfries says she's traumatised after burglars broke into to her home and stole jewellery worth £50,000 whilst she was on holiday. She says her house insurance won't cover all the costs.
A woman from Dumfries has told ITV News Border she is distraught that burglars have taken £50,000 worth of jewellery from her home while she was on holiday.
Carol Williamson, whose family runs the Ivanos Italian takeaway in Dumfries, has said most of her jewellery was of sentimental value.
She believes that her home insurance will not cover the amount stolen.
It's thought that the theft happened sometime between July 3rd and July 10th.
