Police in Cambridgeshire have launched a murder investigation after an elderly woman was found dead in her Wisbech home. Una Crown, 86, was discovered in her bungalow in Magazine Lane on Sunday 13 January 2013.
Police investigating the murder of a pensioner from Wisbech will appeal for help to catch her killer on Crimewatch tonight, Monday 29th April.
A reconstruction of the 86-year-old Una Crown's last-known movements will be shown on the programme on BBC1 at 9pm.
Mrs Crown's body was discovered in her bungalow in Magazine Lane, on January 13th.
She had been stabbed and then set on fire in an apparent effort to disguise her injuries and destroy evidence.
Detective Inspector David Grierson said: "She was a small lady who posed no threat to anyone - hopefully the reconstruction will show that and encourage anyone with information to call police."
A £10,000 reward is being offered by independent charity Crimestoppers for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the killer.
Anyone with any information should call the Major Crime Unit on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
