Penguin display opens at The Deep in Hull
Five new gentoo penguins have gone on display at The Deep in Hull for the first time. A class of schoolchildren were some of the first to see the new exhibit.
Five new gentoo penguins have gone on display at The Deep in Hull for the first time. A class of schoolchildren were some of the first to see the new exhibit.
One of the keepers in charge of looking after The Deep's new penguin enclosure says she tells the birds apart by remembering their personalities and habits. Four are named after the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, (Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo and Raphael) and the other is called Fiona.
