A man is due to appear in court today charged with attempted murder and one count of attempted child destruction after a pregnant woman was stabbed at her home in Belton in North Lincolnshire.
The twenty five year old woman , who was almost eight months pregnant, and her baby daughter, who was delivered prematurely, are recovering in Scunthorpe General Hospital , where their condition is described as stable.
