Pensioners urged to claim their benefits

Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, is urging pensioners to claim their benefits as part of the annual Know Your Rights campaign.

Around 30,000 pensioners are estimated to be in poverty because they are not claiming Pension Credit.

Approximately 30,000 carers are also not claiming what they are due.
