Immigration checks 'hostile'
The Government's wave of immigration checks across the country has created a "hostile" and "threatening" environment, a refugee charity has warned.
Clegg's doubts over Home Office immigration tactics
The Home Office has come under fire for tweeting pictures of a number of suspected immigration offenders in raids across the country yesterday.
Earlier this week the Home Office was criticised by the Deputy Prime Minister after vans with posters urging illegal immigrants to go home were seen "driving aimlessly around North London."
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, Nick Clegg said no Liberal Democrats, including Home Office Minister Jeremy Browne, knew about the scheme.
