Crues stay top despite stalemate with Linfield

Crusaders remain top of the Irish Premiership on goal difference following a 0-0 draw with Linfield at Seaview on Saturday.

Both sides effectively cancelled each other out in a scrappy game which failed to live up to its billing.

The biggest talking point came when Phillip Lowry was sent off for a second yellow card in the 50th minute.

But that proved to have little bearing on the outcome as the Blues held firm until the final whistle.

The result keeps Crusaders top on goal difference, while Linfield move up to fourth.
